Soaking the soil to a depth of 1 inch once per week is necessary 


Plant in a planter that has around 20 cm soil depth

The seedlings should be planted about 6 inches apart

The young pods can be consumed fresh or cooked
The young shoots and leaves can be eaten as vegetables after it's steamed or boiled
The seeds are stored, dried, and cooked as a pulse. It is also soaked and used as bean sprouts
The Long Bean pods can vary in length, anywhere between 30 to 80cm
