This Earth Day, we're encouraging everyone to start their journey in growing their  own food by joining the Earth Day Growing Weekend with Rooftop Republic and  Feeding Hong Kong!  

Held at the beautiful edible landscape at Metroplaza Organic Rooftop Farm, you will  have an opportunity to experience an edible oasis in the middle of the city, learn  more about the crops that are in season, and understand more about how each of  us as consumers can combat the growing problem of food waste. To wrap up the  session, you will also enjoy hands-on experience in growing microgreens - young  vegetable greens that fall between sprouts and baby leaf vegetables and can  contain up to 40 times higher levels of vital nutrients than mature vegetables!  

Enjoy a morning of learning, fun, and hands-on experience of sustainable farming  in the city. You'll walk away from this workshop with new skills and take home a  Microgreens Kit to continue growing your own food journey at home!
